In her role as Associate Director of Foundation Relations, Theresa Ulrich combines expertise as a scientist, engineer, and program manager to help advance transformative initiatives across the biological and biomedical research spectrum at MIT. Theresa works closely with faculty and senior leaders in the Departments of Biological Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Brain and Cognitive Sciences, as well as in the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, the Picower Institute for Learning and Memory, and the McGovern Institute for Brain Research. Theresa is supported by Juliet Tripaldi and Georgia Santander.
Before moving to the Office of Foundation Relations in 2014, Theresa was a Scientific Program Manager in the Department of Biological Engineering at MIT, where she managed a large interdisciplinary program sponsored by the Department of Defense and the National Institutes of Health. Theresa completed her Ph.D. work on brain tumor mechanobiology at UC Berkeley.
