David Gordon

Senior Associate Director

Background Information
David Gordon is a Senior Associate Director of Foundation Relations. He focuses on developing and strengthening relationships with a portfolio of private foundations, and is responsible for working with the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (SHASS) and the School of Architecture and Planning (SAP). Before coming to MIT in the fall of 2002, he worked for more than four years as a front-line development officer in the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Brandeis University, where he was the lead representative to dozens of major national foundations in the New York and Mid-Atlantic Region. In all, he has nearly two decades of fundraising experience, as well as an extensive background in non-profit management and policymaking work.
